The short version

Shorts to Player does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any data. Period.

What the extension stores

• Your two preferences — how Shorts open, and whether Shorts are hidden from feeds — are saved using Chrome's built-in sync storage (chrome.storage.sync).
• This data stays inside your browser / Google account sync and is never sent to us or any third party. We have no servers.

What the extension can access

• The extension runs only on youtube.com, solely to detect Shorts URLs and adjust how Shorts are displayed.
• It does not read your watch history, account information, or anything on other websites.

Analytics, ads, tracking

None. The extension contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking code of any kind.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page.
